  • Why choose between great taste and super nutrition when you can have both?  If sandwiches and toast are a few of your favorite things you can’t go wrong with our Multigrain Boule.  From grilled ham and swiss to hummus and veggies,  the nutty, chewy crust and moist crumb of this loaded loaf will complement any filling.  Toasting brings out the sweetness of the cracked whole grains and the wonderful aroma of the sourdough.  Pictured with a lovely, hand-stamped linen by our friends at Three Pines Studio in Cross Village just north of here.  Linen is the very best way to store bread for longevity and freshness, not to mention reducing plastic bag waste. • Here is one of the breads that built our reputation for fine artisan bread in Northern Michigan. We load this bread with Michigan Red Tart Cherries and toasted pecans.  The dark, caramelized crust and roasted pecans are the perfect counterpoint to the slightly tangy, fruity crumb. A lightly toasted slice with some quality butter and a cup of coffee makes a memorable breakfast, or use it for battered French toast dusted with cocoa and powdered sugar.  Makes a terrific Thanksgiving stuffing as well as a great sandwich base if you're looking for a tasty adventure.  Pictured with a lovely, hand-stamped linen by our friends at Three Pines Studio in Cross Village just north of here.  Linen is the very best way to store bread for longevity and freshness, not to mention reducing plastic bag waste. • Candied ginger and fresh lemon zest scent our buttery shortbread for a tasty treat all year long.
  • It's hard to capture the satisfaction of this tasty scone in a photo, but imagine our buttery scone dough studded with aged sharp, white cheddar cheese and fresh chopped scallions.  Perfect alone.  Even better adorned with an egg, bacon or sausage.
  • The fruity, saltiness of good olives is a natural complement to sourdough bread. We load this bread with a mixture of black and green Greek olives and a good measure of dried rosemary. Try spreading slices with tangy goat cheese and topping off with roasted red pepper strips. Or spread with mild semi-soft triple cream cheese, Dijon mustard and shaved prosciutto. This bread brings flavor to the table.
