Petoskey Hole
BREAKING NEWS: Crooked Tree Breadworks founder Greg Carpenter has purchased the controversial, undeveloped commercial parcel known as the Petoskey “Hole” (located at 200 E Lake Street, across from BeardsBrewery) where he will break ground on a new venture, the first of its kind, selling air-fried, gluten-free donut holes and bagel holes.
Carpenter credits holy inspiration for the idea. In the spring of 2020, as the economy was in a rut, he stumbled into a wholly unexpected idea: Why not sell donut holes? But not just donut holes, why not bagel holes, too?
Says Carpenter “Though we’ve never made donuts or bagels at Crooked Tree Breadworks, some seasonal visitors are adamant that we have always made them.”
Why take this risk? According to Carpenter, all of the previous development plots were full of holes. Carpenter plans to use his sphere of influence to make ends meet.
Carpenter continues, “Carpenter Properties is not like cheesy, subterranean prior developers that don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, pushing empty promises and leaving the community uncentered. Petoskey needs those people like we need a hole in the head. Our plan centers around shoveling real resources into a large void in the market. I really dig that this fits so well, in a roundabout way, with Crooked Tree Breadworks’ core business model. So much unfilled potential!”
Stop by Crooked Tree Breadworks today for a free donut hole to celebrate this momentous occasion! Details below.
