We bake our wheaty rustic baguette after rolling it in a mixture of seeds - unhulled sesame, brown flax and a dash of fennel. The seeds roast in the oven lending their aromas to the crumb.
This baguette has an elegant appearance and intoxicating aroma that will compliment many cheeses and toppings. It also makes a terrific base for a dipped Italian beef sandwich (and it won't fall apart when dipped.)
